Welsh Government has an excellent track record of supporting the smart energy sector, and have continued the tradition by confirming their sponsorship of the second annual Smart Energy Wales event, taking place on 22nd September in Cardiff.

Boasting a superb collection of speakers from a wide range of organisations, this is Wales’ highest profile and best-attended event. The delegate rate is just £49.99, with concessions available for the third sector, local government and members of RenewableUK Cymru.

The Cabinet Secretary for Environment and Rural Affairs, Lesley Griffiths, is headline political speaker

Speaking about the event, David Clubb said:

“Like many children of the seventies, I enjoyed a teenage diet of the sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf, and was equally astonished and delighted to learn that the actor who played the Kryten character, Robert Llewellyn is now a campaigning expert on the subject of low-emission vehicles who hosts his own YouTube channel on the topic – when he’s not hosting Scrapheap Challenge.

“As a headline speaker on sustainable transport Robert is hard to beat, but his performance is just one of many experts from industry and the public sector which will be fascinating to attendees. Kudos to the support we have received from Welsh Government, without whom we would not be able to organise such a stunning event.

“If you believe that the future of energy is smart, you shouldn’t be anywhere else on 22nd September”.
