We welcome the appointment of Diane McCrea as chair of Natural Resources Wales and look forward to working with her and the newly appointed members of the board. We hope they will be able to draw on their expertise and experience to strengthen the existing team and steer NRW to become a world-class organisation.
As Wales’ first Future Generations Commissioner, Sophie Howe has an important role to play as she follows in the footsteps of Peter Davies, who has worked tirelessly to bring the Future Generations Bill to fruition. We hope we have the opportunity to work closely with her to help Wales achieve its full sustainable potential.
