RenewableUK Cymru has welcomed the research commissioned by Welsh Government on the impact of wind farms on the Welsh tourism sector.

David Clubb, director of RenewableUK Cymru, said:

“This Welsh Government study is consistent with the findings of a number of other such investigations, which is there is no significant detrimental impact on tourism – in fact, with onshore wind funds being used to invest heavily in mountain biking and other rural infrastructure, there is high potential for wind energy to become a driver for tourism across Wales.”
