Registration is now open for the RenewableUK Cymru annual conference and exhibition, which takes place in Cardiff City Hall on Thursday 1 May. The event is sponsored by the Welsh Government.

First Minister, Carwyn Jones AM will be giving his view of the renewable energy industry in Wales in the keynote speech, which opens the conference. Other sessions will cover subjects such as financing renewable energy projects, widening the energy mix, smart energy and storage, community partnership approaches to renewable energy generation and a tidal energy update. The conference will conclude with representatives from each of the main political parties in Wales participating in an Energy Question Time.

In between the conference sessions there will be opportunities to network with key industry figures and a chance to look around the exhibition.

Discounted entry is available for students and people who work for charities, not-for-profit, academic and local government organisations. Further information about the conference and how to attend is available here
