RenewableUK Cymru will be hosting a working session to discuss the NDF as it relates to the development of renewable energy on October 18th

The NDF is Welsh Government’s 20-year plan for Wales up to 2040.  It aims to cover the big issues important to Wales’ success, including housing, energy, economy, transport and the environment.

Rhys Jones, Head of RUK Cymru, said “The NDF is a key document which will contribute significantly to the prospects of securing a prosperous future for the Welsh renewable energy industry. I look forward to a useful session that will examine some of the most important issues regarding the future location of onshore wind and solar renewable energy schemes, and their potential to contribute to Wales’ future prosperity and its response to the climate emergency.”

Time: 09.00 for 09.30 start – 12.00noon

 Purpose:  To provide additional background information and clarification to stakeholders in respect of policies 10 – 13 in the National Development Framework and respond to consultee / stakeholder questions which may assist in preparing responses to the NDF consultation.
