Wales & West Utilities; a very smart company
The event, now in its third year, attracts headline speakers from across the UK, and has an impressive track record of senior-level industry representation.
The accompanying exhibition provides a unique opportunity to meet the most entrepreneurial companies in the smart energy sector from Wales and beyond.
Wales & West Utilities – the gas emergency and pipeline service for Wales and the south west of England – is a well-established member of the ‘smart’ community, and is widely regarded as one of the most forward-thinking gas networks.
The company has participated in more than twenty smart energy projects and continues to seek further opportunities to collaborate on projects that support the growth of an integrated energy network with green gas and renewable energy, taking advantage of the gas network to support wind and solar generation.
Commenting on the the involvement of Wales & West with the Smart Energy Wales Conference, David Clubb said:
“Wales & West have a fantastic reputation for innovation in the energy sector – not just restricted to gas. They are only too aware of the challenges that lie ahead, and are constantly developing in order to meet them”.
Chris Clarke, Wales & West Utilities Director of Asset Management said:
“We’re really pleased to be involved in the 2017 Smart Energy Wales Conference. As a company, we’re doing all we can to support the development of an integrated energy system that is secure, affordable and low carbon – and are looking forward to hearing about how we can work collectively as an industry to meet that challenge, taking advantage of existing infrastructure to underpin advances in renewable generation.”
