Action for Renewables organised a panel debate on Energy held last night in Welshpool. The panel was chaired by Adrian Ramsey, Chief Executive of the Centre for Alternative Technology and featured Jane Dodds, the prospective Liberal Democrat candidate for Montgomeryshire at the next general election, Glyn Davies, the sitting Conservative MP for Montgomeryshire, and Simon Thomas, the Plaid Cymru Assembly Member for Mid and West Wales. With over a hundred people in the audience this was a very well attended and very interesting event. Responding to questions from the audience each member of the panel outlining their various views on issues facing Wales and the UKs energy system from nuclear and fracking to wind and grid.
