‘Challenging ground conditions‘ have been cited as the reason for the termination of the Rhiannon offshore wind project.
David Clubb, Director of RenewableUK Cymru said:
“The proposed 2GW windfarm had the potential to generate huge economic benefit for Anglesey and the surrounding area, and the cancellation of the project is highly disappointing. However, we hope that engineering and technological improvements will make the site viable for future development.”
