DECC has just published provisional 2013 energy statistics – and wind posted an increased generation, 38% up on 2012. Wind generated 8% of total electricity across the year.
Overall energy use in the UK continues to decline, with a 2% (temperature-corrected) drop in 2013 compared with 2012.
